Biden’s behavior at the debate was translated as condescending by some. He was seen smiling, laughing and rolling his eyes at Paul Ryan’s responses. Paul Ryan, Wisconsin, was at ease, and mainly focused more on foreign policy rather than domestic issues. The debate was sharply moderated by ABC News moderator Martha Raddatz.

The debate was special for its spontaneity and spirit. The people saw at the vice-presidential debate what they could not see at the last presidential debate.
The opponents debated on the Libyan attack that killed the US ambassador, as well as the Obama’s foreign policy and his entire national security agenda.

Responding to Ryan’s criticisms about the Libyan attack on the US embassy, Biden responded, “not a single thing he said was accurate.” Ryan critically responded to Biden’s constant interruptions, saying “… I think people would be better served if we do not keep interrupting each other.”

The vice-president accused Republicans for wanting a war with Iran, unaffordable and needless at the moment.

The debate is also a good signal for Obama’s supporters, as they are looking forward to the second presidential debate on Tuesday.

Romney later accused Biden for contradicting the State Department officials by claiming they did not know about the Libyan attack in the eve of September 11-2001 attacks’ anniversary.
